SOmetimes I feel like I'm in a third world country taking a cab with these vehicles....but it is a mode of transport and will get you where you're going. If another cab company opened in the area and had newer cars, Handy would run out of customers....BUT, since there are few cabs and lots of people, they do OK. THe drivers are friendly and the cabs are usually on time if you call for one, but do not try to get a ride during peak bar hopping hours. more

Handy Delivery 8/19/2005

Handy Delivery gets the job done when you need to go from one place to another. Most of their cars are over 15 years old and it still isn't cheap to ride in them. Don't even try calling around 12:30 or 2:30 because the lines are swamped with students trying to get back to their rooms when the buses stop. Even with these drawbacks handy delivery has always been on time whenever I schedule with them and I can trust them to get me to the airport and back. more

busted old cars 8/11/2005

Handy delivery will indeed take you from point A to point B, but not necessarily in style or comfort. The drivers have always been courteous, but the cars in the fleet are very old and very small--they use compacts. I wouldn't mind it at all if their price was super cheap, but it isn't. Almost anywhere in State College to the airport costs $20 each way. But there are few other options if you can't get a friend to drive you. more
