Hi I worked at this place for only 2 days and I just want anyone who may waste there time seeking employment not to bother, first I was hired and told I had to purchase my own uniform from "new" non sneaker shoes to a vest that I spent days looking for to pants a white taylored dress shirt apron etc, I show up my first day excited as It is fine dining and I have done this type of work before knowing the $$ tips are awesome! I had my entire uniform on dressed to impress found all the pieces finally and was very excited to begin, first day I asked who I give my ID a d SS card to to claim my wages and get my hourly minimum wage training rate? The bartender chuckled and said good luck, you can try to get what your owed but he will not pay you! I said what?!!! She said he has ways of getting around it! Because what we make in tips in a day will make up for what he's responsible to pay! I did not understand that wasn't sure it was true and just figured I'd find out more later and ask the owner. Second day, I witnessed the owner "lucky" treating many servers very mean! He ignored questions from 2 servers, I heard one ask if he should use crystal or glass, he turned around glared at him turned back to his newspaper snapped it and ignored him , the server asked politely "sir would you like me to use crystal for the guests?" lucky starred at him got up and walked away, it was very disturbing to watch. Also observed a girl that's been there for over a month not make any money at all she has a daughter who is really sick and works 3 jobs, she is only allowed ONE table after a month!! The staff seems as though there all walking on egg shells, noone appears relaxed , charming , no personality it's very odd, I decided after only 2 days that I would look for other work and take my expertise somewhere it's appreciated to a place I could actually make a living in and not witness and be around such nastiness , I have worked for many many Greeks I've seen nothing like this! He almost seems as though he has mental problems, I called
