Tavern has a good mix of elegant and casual that makes for a very inviting atmosphere. Tavern is not a sports bar; so go elsewhere to watch the game and drink cheap beer. Downstairs has a certain feel to it; the mix of the copper ceiling, brass fixtures, wood, and brick give the place a lot of character. Downstairs is cramped, but it gives everyone the chance to get up close and personal with the live music. Go upstairs for more elbowroom. Upstairs does not have the same feel, but it does have a nice open café appeal. The food is good, and the brew is quality stuff.
Great hangout.
Pros: Unique Setting, Good Beer on Tap
Cons: Downstairs is Small, Parking Limited
