Tattoo Zoo Inc

I got 7 of my 8 tattoo's at Tattoo Zoo, and I love it there!! I have been to the three people that work there, and have been completely satisfied with everyone. Steve did a rib piece on me and freehanded the design. Everyone who has seen it really likes it. I have told all my friends to go there, and they are happy with tattoo zoo as well. Thanks! more

This was my first tattoo, and I had designed it myself, but knew that it needed a modification that only the tattoo artist could make for me. It was very meaningful to me, and I "interviewed" several tattoo artists. My husband had heard about Kevin, and when I went in to meet with him, his demeanor was impressive. The other artists I interviewed wanted to change the "font" on my design, but Kevin was very thoughtful in that he knew that it was my expression of what I wanted. He was also very considerate of the fact that I was anxious about the painful side of it. I left my design with him and scheduled an appointment. Upon my return, he had made the modification perfectly, and I then told him the colors I wanted, and ask him to use the colors, but apply them using his artistic impression. I had done my research and knew that Kevin was an art major, and I had seen his portfolio. I won't say that it was not a bit of a painful process, but the private atmosphere, and his concern for my comfort was top notch. What I want to encourage you about is the fact that allowing him to use his own artistic impression with the color detail was that of a beautiful artist. He literally did the color on the "fly", using his impression right off of the top of his head, thereby allowing him to show the kind of artist he is. I've only had my tattoo for a month, but I traveled out of the country, and the people were so very impressed all over the world. It's a simple tattoo, but Kevin applied a life-long symbol on me that I am so very happy with and overly impressed to show anyone. I like to say that I designed it, but I also like to show what an artist he is. I would actually put Kevin in a whole different category than most tattoo artists. I had my nose pierced at another shop and thought that the piercing was not healing well. I came into their shop and even though they were not the ones who pierced my nose, they were still VERY helpful. They told me what to do so that my nose would start healing correctly. I followed everything to a T that they suggested and my nose is soooo much better!!!! more

I have gotten two tattoos from this place, and it is the best shop around. They are extremely clean, friendly, and welcoming. I got my first tattoo there about 4 years ago from Kevin, and it took over 3 hours and its full of color, and to this day I get comments on how good it looks and how the color is so bright it looks months old! I brought my sister there to get her first tattoo, and she gets the same color comments. It is so bright and perfect people usually think hers is a sticker! And from what I can tell, they are extremely reasonably priced... people are always very surprised when I tell them how much mine cost (cheap!)! Fantastic! Don't even bother checking out the other shops. If you want high standards as far as technique and talent coupled with really nice, laidback guys - you only have one choice. This is it! These guys are genuine artists, pure and simple. They know their craft. They care about the quality of their work - and it shows. Look at their website - I think it's obvious that their tattoos can't be beat. The colors are incredibly vibrant (even on older ink) and the lines are fantastic. But maybe even more important than that - they don't showboat, they don't judge, they don't pressure. They honestly want people to be happy with their tattoos. Kevin and Rob (the only two I've met personally) are both really interesting, intelligent and kind people. They want to make sure they understand what it is their customers want. I'd take my mom in for a tattoo! They don't hurry (although they are fast) and the prices are more than fair. It's a comfortable, clean environment and you can trust that sterile technique is maintained. We can't wait to come back for more... Thanks guys! I had gone to them sometime in 2005 to check out what they had and the "spiritualness" of the shop. Was completely blown away. Had to wait on my money and finally late September and October of this year I had my sword tattoo'd on my back. I brought the sword in showed them what I wanted in place of somethings and it is an amazing piece of art work on my back. Rob, I am really bad with names so forgive me if I got it wrong, is awesome and will do my 7th tattoo of a geisha on my right thigh. Yep the sword was my 6th and I had 3 done by artist from Sacred Heart Tattoo in Atlanta (Hey Rob and Colette) and how cool is this my tattoo artist at Tattoo Zoo knows the young man that did my very first tat...karma or what!!!! We have a bit more work to do on the sword to make it even more amazing and I hope this one goes in the book for other people to get. Same with the geisha...then all thats left is getting my tailsman done and that one I will leave totally to my artist at Tattoo Zoo. I would recommend them highly, will even convince my girls to go there to get their tats as well. Trust me -- I know a great deal of people who would never trust anyone to do their artwork other than the guys at Tattoo Zoo. These guys are true artists! I would never go to anyone else. Professionalism and artwork second to none. Perfect 10 Remember: when getting a tattoo -- you get what you pay for! A good, quality tattoo by a real artist is going to cost you. I had been looking for a place to get my first tattoo for several months now, and most places I went to didn't want to deal with a first time person. When I walked in the staff that was there stopped what they were doing and immediately found out what I was looking for. This place was so immaculate it even smelled clean! The brought me some books, and said to get some ideas. I found something I liked, but it was just not quite perfect. When I came back for my appointment they fixed it and it was in a word perfect. These guys know customer service, and if you ever want to know how a business should be run look at these guys long and hard. Pros: Customer Service, Friendly, They know their stuff Cons: None! more

I just got my 1st tattoo and was very impressed. I had my own art, and they were happy to work with me to make it perfect. It was easy to make the apointment for the work.
