Taste of India

I will have written everything I know about East Indian food by the time I finish this sentence. Taste of India is about a three hundred yards from my house. It's a short walk, and I have been introduced to the owners so I feel right at home in the dining room, and enjoy the experience of the exotic flavors. I've never ordered anything that I would not order again, But I will sing praises of the Chicken Kandahar to anyone who will listen. (I cannot be sure of the name of that smoked chicken, but the spell check says I have a correctly spelled name for it.) The side dish I favor is a creamed spinach dish called, as far as I know, creamed spinach, but it is a lot more than just that. I have no complaints, in fact it's great to live so close to such a great place to eat. more

Vegetable samosas, garlic naan and chicken tikka masala dosa are some of the featured goodies in this neighborhood restaurant. Lunch and dinner are served daily and most main dishes are $7.00 to $14.00 and you have enough to take home for the next day. Stop by and try this if you like Indian food. The owners are friendly and the service is great! more
