Another hidden gem in Greensboro. Located in the West Wendover shopping center with David's Bridal and Staples (across from Costco.) This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Greensboro...and one of the best overall in Greensboro.
The decor is very nice with dark wood flooring and dark wood chairs. Walls are painted yellow with pictures depicting 'Vietnamese life' vignets. The restaurant is very clean and is on the small side with about 10-12 tables.
Everything I've tried on the menu has been outstanding. The traditional Vietnamese dish Pho comes with all the garnishes: hot sauce, hoisin sauce, fresh sprigs of basil, bean spouts, sliced hot peppers and a wedge of lime. It can be ordered a variety of ways (chicken, meatball, beef brisket, etc.) and tastes terrific. (My wife recommends eating the 'pho ga' (with chicken) if you have a cold.) Other dishes include beef, pork and chicken stir-fry, curry dishes, vermicelli dishes. Of course there are both fresh and crispy spring rolls. Lunch specials are served with a complimentary bowl of soup.
The service is excellent, the restaurant usually only needs one or two waiters to handle the clientele...I've never seen the place packed, but it seems to be getting more traffic lately. I often see Vietnamese people eating here.
Pros: Food, atmosphere, service
