Taste Of Thai

Taste of Thai is one of the worst restaurants that I have been to.The last time I was there, I was served a drink with a molded lemon. It took me ten minutes to get the waitress's attention to replace the glass. (Her name was Koi) Then, I was served a salad that was red-ish brown in color. When asking why it was that color, she said it was the sauce. They do not wash the salads, and it too has mold. Finally, when it came to the main course, I was served a Pad Thai chicken dish with a COCKROACH in it. UMMM fresh Pad Thai with a hint of cockroaches. The waitress, Koi, kept picking her nose and coming straight to my table. Talk about service! Taste of Thai Greensboro is disgusting and I would never eat there again. Trust me stay away! more

I've always liked this restaurant but lately their sanitation grade has been falling. A recent regrade still has them at only 93, up from 90, with notes on the restaurant report card about dirty glasses and poor food handling and storage. I recently found a hair in my food and another friend said she had the same experience. I'll go back when they start taking sanitation seriously again. I eat out too much to risk food poisoning. Now I need a new Thai restaurant. more

The best Thai food I have ever had. I particularly recommend it for a dinner engagement. Buffet-style lunches can only be SO fresh, however Taste of Thai does a good job with it. more

This is my favorite Thai place to go to. It's a little more upscale and therefore more expensive, but it is definitely worth the price! The red curry is always delicious! more

This is not the place to come to if you are used to good, fresh and authentic Thai food. The food here has been Americanized. If you have never tried Thai food and are wary of the new flavors, or if you hope it will taste like the Americanized Chinese food commonly available, maybe this would be good for an introduction, but it is far from authentic. The lunch buffet has quite an extensive selection of food. The food quality is adequate. Not the best Thai I've had. At dinner, the freshly made Pad Thai isn't too bad. BUT, when you order it at lunch, they just pull it from the buffet line and it's not good at all.\r The decor is relaxing. The sound is muffled even when the restaurant is at full capacity. more

Taste of Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in Greensboro. Nowhere else matches the quality of food, service and ambience. Love the Mossamun curry and Pad Thai! more

I was blown away by Taste of Thai. The food is delicious and their menu is huge. My friend and I went to Taste of Thai last week and we both loved it. We ordered the spring rolls, Pad Khing and the Curry Duck. The spring rolls were really good. Both the duck and the pad khing were amazing, they had really rich flavors and aromas.\r \r The restaurant is really clean and has a nice ambiance. The wait staff is very attentive, patient and courteous. Our meal which consisted of Thai Tea, 2 spring rolls, Curry Duck, Pad Khing and Jasmine Tea all came to 35 dollars, very very good prices for the high quality of food.
