Target

Without a doubt, it's Target. I love checking out their clearance items because you can get some awesome deals and they have everything you could ever need. Wamart is a good store in general, but our local Walmart is filtthy and has terrible customer service, so I really prefer the local Target over the local Walmart. more

I have mixed feelings about the Santa Maria Target. For one thing, they have great selections and prices and the store is kept up much better than the local Walmart. They also have awesome clearance items. If you have not checked it out before, they always have items on clearance on the endcaps closest to the walls and you can get some great deals. It's fun just to look because you never know what you might find. They also have a great pharmacy - the pharmacist, Lyle, is very nice and goes out of his way to help people. The only thing that I don't like is that most of the cashiers that I have dealt with have been extremely rude. They frequently don't make eye contact and don't speak during the entire transaction. They just expect you to look at the total on the screen and pay. I guess it is worth it for the good deals, but it just bothers me. more

I love the Target pharmacy. The weekday people are so nice and personable--they remember names and are always willing to help out where they can. I feel good about the type of care I get when I go there. Even when I'm not getting a prescription and I see them walking around the store, they still remember my name and are always polite. I won't go anywhere else. The weekend people are much different so I would always wait until Monday morning and avoid Saturday and Sundays! more
