If you want to catch some really great bargains during the after Christmas sales, give yourself a few days to get past the Christmas rush. Then, rush over to your nearest Target Store to pick up a ton of great buys. Target will drastically reduce their seasonal merchandise and a big group of toys the day after Christmas. If you wait just a little longer, you can pick up remaining quality merchandise for as littleas10 cents on the dollar. They will discount this stuff to 90% off'. This is when I make my move and sweep up all I can for next Christmas. more

I caught a prelit artificial Christmas Tree on Clearance 2 years ago after Christmas at Target for 90% off!!! I couldn't pass up the bargain. I prefer a live Christmas Tree but budget concerns had me panicing every year. If I buy a fresh tree then I am short that much cash to spend on my girls Christmas gifts. So, I broke down and bought the artificial tree. It is very pretty decorated! I spray a cedar smelling air freshner in the room and voila! I have a live christmas tree. You can't beat Target for those after Christmas reductions. When they reach 90% off, I grab up the bargains. This is when I start my Christmas shopping for the next year. I shop at Target much more often than Walmart! I find the quality of the merchandise is much better than most of what Walmart has! Target seems to be a much cleaner store with wider aisles which makes my shopping trips more enjoyable! The layout of the store is convient and more navigable than walmart! Being a guy, I don't tend to browse every department like most of the ladies I know. I prefer to go straight to the department I need to shop in and get what I need. At Target I can find what I want very easily and the check out lanes are never as crowded as Walmart! more

I can not keep my wife out of Target. I don't know what her fascination with that store is but she is addicted to shopping there. Well, one day I went with her and she said that she had to go see her friend (Clarance). She walked off while I was looking around in the electronics section. I found her a while later under this big sign that read: CLEARANCE. Thank Goodness, I found out that it was not another man. It was just a sale!!! Seriously, my wife does find great buys at our Target Store. She searches out the Clearance areas and always comes out with some very good baragins. When my favorite team's game is not broadcast on television, I usually turn that time into a shopping adventure. While hubby watches what ever team may happen to be playing, I don't like watching teams I am not a fan of. This is when I get my opportunity to go shopping! Where do I head? Target of course! Gotta keep a close check on the clearance items and see if they have hit the 90% off mark yet. Haven't you heard about all of the great deals at Target. I live for the 90% off sales. I pick up some magnificent bargains during this time of year. So, if your team isn't playing, or you don't have pay per view to catch them on tv, try your luck at Target and see if you can score a touchdown at the clearance racks. more

We have just the regular Target store here in Alexandria. We have not been privileged to get the super target. Although ours in not a super target I do like to shop there fairly often. I can always find quiet a variety of clearance items here. I am a "Clearance Hunter". I always search out the clearance aisles. With 3 children, their spouses, 6 grandchildren, and numerous great nieces and nephews, I have to make my Christmas money go the distance. I shop the clearance racks all year round. When I find a good item at a very good price, I pick it up. About once a month I gift wrap (Christmas wrap) and name tag the items I have picked up. I make a list of what I've bought, the price of the item (original and sale price), and who it is for. Then I store them in a rubbermaid container in my storage shed. When I put my Christmas tree up, I have gifts ready to place under the tree. Yes, all too often, I am just as surprised as the kids when they open their gifts because I have forgotten what I have wrapped for them. I keep track of the evenness of gifts with my list that I have made. more
