Don't travel so bulky 10/1/2006

I love shopping Target -- especially the SuperTarget, but when I'm travelling I like to make a special trip there to get travel sizes of shampoo, lotion, and toothpaste (or even better, the toothbrush/toothpaste combo) so I can pack a little lighter. They have all sorts of travel sized stuff -- packages of baby wipes, tissues, mouth wash -- you'll probably find most anything you'll need for a short trip. Best part, is most of the stuff is about a dollar. Not great on the economy scale, but in terms of being able to pack light and not have to carry that stuff back home is -- in the words of MasterCard -- priceless. more

Target 4/11/2006

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that has noticed the recent changes at Target stores. The one at the Quarry in North East Minneapolis went through a lot of construction (which was Very annoying), and now apparently, it is "new". I found out that they are working to make every single Target in the country look the same. It does seem more organized to me, but a lot less functional. (Toothpaste in the front of the store?) more

I hate this store (ok, not really)! 1/15/2006

Target is a dangerous store for me to walk into. Usually I am going in for things like diapers or shampoo or cards and can come out with such great deals. This Target is great because it opened about 3-4 years ago in the heart of downtown (and right next to its corporate headquarters) and I think is the first two story Target (complete with a cart escalator). It is easy to stop by on my lunch hour from work. And because it is Target you know you are entering a great store. Now there are a couple employees I would rather avoid (especially when it comes to things involving the alphabet - photo center, pharmacy) but I do not let one bad apple spoil the bunch. more
