Not so great anymore 3/31/2012

Unfortunately when they moved from the original area in Kennett Square to the site on route 41 near Hockessin, DE the quality has dropped. We have tried to give it a few chances but just cannot get over how they have changed. It's as if once they had the go ahead to serve booze, the food no longer matters. more

Fantastic Restaurant 4/6/2009

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and the portions are enormous! Recently had a dinner there with 22 people, and the staff was wonderful. Pros: Authentic food, huge portions, BYOB Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Better Mexican food than we found in the Southwest! 3/4/2008

We visit Taqueria Moroleon weekly, sometimes more than once. We often order the vegetarian menu since friends we frequently dine with are vegetarian. There are several choices for vegetarians, which is not the case in many restaurants, and the food is always outstanding! When we order other items, we particularly enjoy the steak and mushroom fajitas (Kennett Square is the ""Mushroom Capital of the World). We really can't say that there is anything we've tried that we haven't enjoyed. The only thing we'd like to see them try is a buffet - perhaps on a once a week basis - that would allow us to sample newer dishes. Pros: Large protions, great taste. Cons: Service can be slow, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings more

We've been going to this place for a few years. It is always has great food. It's crowded on weekends, but we've never had to wait for a table. Pros: Food, BYOB more

A Great Value and Good Place to Take the Family 3/5/2006

We eat at Taqueria Moroleone at least once a week, take out or eat in. The food is always fantastic and you get plenty to eat for the money, though the service can be slow at times, especially Sunday night. Kids are welcome and on Saturday night they have a Mariachi band that wanders table to table and sings. They play requests! Lunch is an exceptional value and the Huevos Rancheros is delicious. Also recommended, Pollo Ranchero (Grilled Chicken), Camerones Mojo de Ajo (Shrimp with Garlic), Burritos, and the Seafood Soup, available only on weekends. Watch out, the soup is very spicy!
