You would think a place under new management would give a damn about keeping customers.
My wife and I went to taps a couple times and it sucked. So when it switched management and became the Tap room, we thought what the heck, why not.
We sat on the patio because it was a nice day. We waited a few minutes for someone to help us.
It took 5 minutes for them to bring us a drink menu.
I ordered a beer and my wife ordered just a water. about 5 minutes later she got her water and another 5 minutes later I got my beer.
Oh did I mention there were only about 15 people in the entire place and half were bellied up to the bar?
We ordered food, I ordered the cuban sandwich and my wife ordered the fish tacos.
The food came after about 15 minutes.
It didn't look very appetizing, looked like it was microwaved. I asked for condiments and it took another 5 minutes for her to bring mustard. COME ON!
I also noticed the very strong fish smell coming from my wife's fish tacos. Remember we were sitting out side.
I asked her how they were and she said they tasted really fishy.
Good fish shouldn't taste FISHY.
So we told our waitress because there was no way she was going to be able to eat them.
She said she would she if she could comp the tacos.
She came back and said that her manager said that the fish was fresh so they couldn't comp the tacos. WTF????
Who does that?
It isn't the fact that we had to pay for something we didn't eat. It was the fact that the product was horrible.
Especially in a new restaurant and bar.
Needless to say this place gets MINUS 2 Stars from me.
Save your money, save your time.
This place will be closed in several months if they don't start caring a little.
Food is crap, service is crap, and the management obviously doesn't care about their customers.
Go across the street to Maggiores, there food is hot fresh and the staff cares.
Anyplace but here
Pros: Beer was cold
