A nice haven tucked away off one of Honolulu's busiest intersections. Located across the street from the Hawaii Convention Center, Tapioca Express offers a lot more than tapioca. Tasty plate lunches (we give both the boneless kal-bi and the mochiko chicken thumbs up), sandwiches, bubble tea and other drinks, a comfy couch (with cookbooks as reading material), a couple of Internet terminals and free-wifi advertised. Also apparently features an "open-mic night." Friendly, cozy, a handful of tables inside and out, a fun find in this neighborhood.
Parking is tricky. Businesses in the building have 35 stalls reserved in a lot next door. Parking is ample, it's just a little hard to find.
