This cool and hip salon always makes me feel at home! It is warm and cozy and I am offered snacks and beverages every time I walk in. Isa and her staff are very attentive and down to earth. They love to create the best look for your hair and lifestyle. They also have a great new product that covers grey outgrowth that you can purchase and use at home called Mimiccolor. It can be in your purse or travel bag for those moments when you wished you had been to the colorist but didn't have time! Love it! Pros: Artistic vibe, colorful people more

Rockin hair salon !! 6/4/2009

I love this salon. Been gong for almost 5 years & they always make me feel special. They take the time to ask what I want, make it work and I walk out a super hair hero. Always get comments on my hair and I know its because of Tao Blaze because I never got comments before no matter who i went to. Everyone seems so happy in there and Isa is the master of making you feel relaxed and I walk out a new person each time. Nice! I can't speak highly enough of Tao Blaze Salon. Iza has been doing my hair for the last year -- both cuts and highlights -- and she does a fantastic job. My hair is easy to do. I get compliments all the time. I'm thrilled with her services. more

Best Hair Salon in Los Gatos 9/29/2008

Finally a great hair salon in Los Gatos! It is wonderful to find REAL professionals, a refreshing change from most salons in LG! The stylist who did my hair, also the owner of Tao Blaze, Isa, is very talented, very good at listening and has an excellent eye. I am thankful to her for a great haircut for my difficult hair. I also enjoyed the relaxed, pleasant atmosphere of the salon, a far cry from the uptight, catty atmosphere found around town at places like Nimbus... Try it, you will not be disappointed! Pros: Very talented staff, friendly atmosphere Cons: None! more

The Perfect Hair Salon 8/16/2008

Tao Blaze is the best hair salon around. Sonja is my stylist and she takes the time to make my hair perfect. I could be in a magazine with the haircuts and color that she does for me! I always leave there feeling fantastic and revived!! The atmosphere is wonderful as well.. all the ladies take very good care of you. I would highly recommended this salon and Sonja is FANTASTIC!! more

Best Special Occasion Hair Styling!! 5/18/2008

They are the absolute experts on special occasion hairstyles. They did all the models hairstyles for the 2007 and 2008 Santana Row ""Children and Mom's"" spring fashion shows. Isa, Sonya and Deidre did 45 (!) amazing hairstyles for girls, boys and Moms in just 2 hours! Amazing! They are so creative and made each and every model look like a superstar. I would recommend them to brides, bridal parties, catwalk models, proms, parties or anyone who wants to look their best. Pros: talented stylists. Very nice people and aim to please too more

I tried to go without Isa...but my hair showed it. Best in California!!! 11/14/2007

I had been a customer of Isa's for many years, then I moved away. I wondered why I could not find anyone else who did a satisfactory job on my hair...and I tried a few. Finally, I started doing it myself. Recently I moved back and first thing I did was go see Isa. My hair looks the best ever. The color is perfect for my complexion and people comment on how good it looks. I am happy and I think that Isa is always a person who will push to make her client look better and better. Thanks Isa. I missed you! Pros: Knowledge, skill, understanding customer needs Cons: A little pricy...but worth it! more

Worst Hair Experience of My Life!!!! 10/7/2007

Based on a recommendation from a friends mom I went to Tao Blaze and had my hair cut and colored by Becca. It was a disaster! When I went back to my normal stylist she said it looked like my hair had been cut with a machete. And to boot the color was completely uneven and faded within weeks. I just heard from the same friend that she is moving to Capelli's salon in Los Gatos. Maybe now I will consider going back to Tao Blaze. Good luck Capelli's! You will need it if you are hiring stylists of this caliber. Pros: Absolutely Nothing Cons: Where do I start? more

I LOVE this salon. My hair color always looks fabulous after a visit to Tao Blaze. I have been going to Isa for years. I always grab her business cards when I leave, for the people who compliment my hair cut and color. If you are in the market for a new hair designer...you need to go to Tao Blaze! more

Best Hair Salon 5/13/2007

The stylists at Tao Blaze Salon did a fabulous job of styling all the children's and women's hair for a Children of the World fashion show at Santana Row this past Mother's Day weekend. They were so nice to volunteer their services for the show. I would use them if I ever needed a striking updo or styling for a special occasion. Check them out! Best color. Best styles. Best staff. Friendly, warm, and welcoming environment. 5/7/2007

I am a true Tao Blaze devotee! Becka is not just my stylist and colorist - she is my hair saviour. Like other clients who have posted reviews, I put full trust in Becka's judgement. I usually just leave it up to her to decide what to do with my hair, but on the rare occasion I want something specific, she executes it perfectly. Since I started seeing Becka people rave about my hair (friends, co-workers, and complete strangers!) and I have never felt as comfortable or confident with any other hairstyle or color. Becka and Isa also styled my wedding party's hair last year and everyone looked beautiful. At the wedding a long-time family friend even commented that my hair color is the best he's ever seen on me. And as he is an artist this was a compliment I took very seriously. My Mom is also Becka's client and we have such a good time at the salon that we book our appointments together. We never want to leave! Isa, Becka, and Sonja always make us feel so welcomed and appreciated.....they truly make Tao Blaze the best salon in the Bay Area. more

Tao Blaze is simply the best! 5/4/2007

Isa has been styling, coloring and highlighting my hair for years. I receive compliments regularly about my beautiful hair color. In fact, I've been asked often enough about where I get my hair done that I keep extra Tao Blaze business cards in my wallet to hand out when asked. My sister is a hairdresser in Colorado and she too says that Isa ""works magic"" with color. Becka also does excellent styling and color. And Sonja will pamper you with a shampoo and scalp massage that you wish would never end. Pros: Very talented and very nice staff. more

Isa has been cutting my husband's hair (and he has an unmanageable mop of hair that most stylists give up on) forever now and at this point he just won't go anywhere else anymore. I go in and say ""surprise me"" and we're always delighted with the result. more

My sanctuary 5/3/2007

I have been coming to Tao Blaze for a few years now and Becka is my stylist. Everytime I am in the chair I loose track of time and truly feel as if I am escaping my hectic world. She is very attentive and kind as well as everyone else in the salon. Sonja is such a doll if there was ever a time Becka was not free, I feel so confident with her! I have watched her talent grow so much, she is really going places! I write this review with a little hesitation I would never want my sanctuary to be disturbed and its so hard to share Becka! more

Highly Recommend 4/29/2007

Isa Moe has done my color and cut for many years. My husband and son go to her too. We were recently married and Isa did a fabulous job on the entire wedding party. My hair was SO BEAUTIFUL! We LOVE the product Isa created for covering up roots between color. My husband uses it on his gotee. It is an amazing product and one of a kind. I enjoy visiting TAO BLAZE SALON- everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is very cool. We live out of town and Isa always bends over backwards to accomodate our schedule. The Joy of Tao Blaze 4/29/2007

I found Isa Moe on a referral the day before my 25th High School Reunion. It was a complete gamble for me to be so cavalier about my haircut and color --> but I waited till the last minute to decide to go, my regular place was booked up - so there I was. Isa asked me qualifying questions and listened intently to my verbose description of the layered haircut I was looking to recover, just the right cut - and she nailed it!! I'm one of those people who can't carry off many different hair styles and my hair is graying all too fast - I was _thrilled_ with Isa's experienced eye and perfected skills - I went to my reunion the next day feeling that I looked as good as I could, that was huge to me that she nailed my haircut the first time! Sonja and Deidre have also colored/washed/blew out my hair - I highly recommend Tao Blaze to enhance your hairstyle and overall experience! more

I love my hair color. Sonja has been coloring and cutting my hair for over a year now and I have never had so many compliments! She is super sweet. She came to our school last year to do styles at the senior prom. She and Deirdre brought beautiful flower hair pins they made to put in our hair. Her prom styles are rock! more

Where hair is considered a work of art... 4/29/2007

I have followed Isa from her earlier shops for 15+ years. Tao Blaze is the culmination of what she has learned over the years in how to do it right! Her and Becka have my complete trust. I am confident putting my hair in their hands. Sometimes I come in and say ""whatever you want to do, let's go for it"". That is how comfortable I am with their end product. I get many compliments on my hair and I know it is because they consider my hair - their hair! When they style my hair, they are doing it from the starting place of it being 'their hair' too. Together we make an awesome team, me putting my trust in them, and them making my hair look stylish and great. more
