We arrived at Tanuki at 7:25 on a Saturday night. There were four other parties in the entire restaurant. When we decided to leave at 7:45, we had empty water glasses, and no one had even taken our order. From what we could tell, there was one server and one chef. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, the walls are white with no decorations, and the atmosphere was anything but intimate. Not only is this the worst sushi restaurant in Nashville, but it could be the worst restaurant in Nashville. Period.
Pros: extensive menu
Cons: , no atmosphere
