Tania's Hair Design

Just so everyone knows how much I LOVE this salon....I drive 1 1/4 hours from Redding, CT to go to Tania's Hair Design...and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Why? because I am always asked ""where did you get your haircut"" or ""I love your haircut"". One woman actually said ""whoever cuts your hair really knows how to cut."" This happens at least once between each hair cut. When it happened the first time I thought the person was being genuine but just nice and then when it happened over and over again I knew I was on to something good. Since I live so far away, the peoples response when I tell them where I get it cut is that they are sorry it is so far away or ""I wish it were closer."" Tania and Nicole take the time to make sure I love my hair and colr. AND the place is spotless. I am not sure why the other client was so miserable unless she works at the competitor she mentioned. We've all had a bad hair cut at least once in our life...remember it grows. I give this place 5 stars....and recommend it. IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE. more

I am so happy with the service at this Salon. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The very first time I went I was offered some coffee while I was waiting for my color to take. I've had several treatments and am satisfied with everyone I have had. Once I even treated myself to a facial oh it was heaven. Next week I am going for my fourth time. I reccomend this Salon very highly. more

I don't know why this person had such a bad experience at Tania's. I have been there quite a few times and have always gotten good service and exactly what I wanted. I recomend this Salon to all my friends and co-workers. Maybe she is just having a ""bad hair day."" Please try it for yourself. Take it from a very satisfied customer. Bowlermom more

My daughter and I went to this salon, although the staff is friendly, we still came out with unmanageble haircuts-especially my daughter's hair-which is way too short now and she is forced to pull it up in a ponytial until it grows out. My hair is totally unmanageable, especially using their products-when I can style it is when I use Tresemme, imagine that!!!!! I can't wait to get my six week trim and style somewhere else. Very disappointed for the amount of money that I spent, I will never do that again. For the amount of money they charge (we both had haircuts from the owner, the most expensive and supposedly the most knowledegable), it makes me think that all these refresher courses that they take don't teach anything. We could have gotten this haircuts from Shear Success up the street for alot less money :(. Every day that I have to style my hair makes me disappointed all over again. more
