I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. I always bring my friends and family because it is simply the best. My favorite dish, as a vegan, is 3 flavors Tofu and it is crispy, spicy and sweet all at the same time. It is excellent. The cooks are fantastic and the servers are always pleasant. if you want authentic Thai food, this is the ONLY place to get it served right in Miami. You will not be disappointed. That is my promise! more

I went to Tani Thai last night for the first time and was in heaven. I didn't know food could taste that good. The ambience is perfect for any occasion, despite the small space the mirrors on the wall open up the place. The service was fast and friendly and everything I tried was the best I've had. The appetizers were kind of small for my taste, but that may just be my American Gluttony speaking out. Pad Thai was phenomenal and they offer it on a spiciness scale of 1 to 5 so if your into a kick you can get it. The best part of the meal was the Cocky Bob Chicken, I've never had such delicious and fresh tasting chicken before. I woke up thinking about this place and had to put in my 2 cents before work. Go there and you will not be disappointed. more

My husband is Thai, and this is one of his favorites close to home. This is Thai Thai food, not American Thai. Everything on the menu is great. Would love it if they would add Som Tam to the menu. more

DH took me there for my 1st Thai experience. BIG MISTAKE!! Now everywhere else fails in comparison. Have had all sorts of things from the menu, always excellent service and food. I try to leave room for the fried ice-cream but it's not always possible. more

Simply Delicious 3/14/2008

We tried the pad thai and frog leg dish at Tani Thai for dinner, and we were quite pleased. The pad thai was prepared in authentic Thai style, which was deliciously spicy. The frog leg was in basil sauce, and it was succulent. more

Great food, always cooked to perfection 11/19/2007

I have never eaten in the actual restaurant, but I get take out all the time, and the food is great. The people I order from on the phone and at the counter where you pay are very prompt and polite. From walking in there, it looks very relaxing and quiet, you may want to avoid taking rowdy kids. more

Best Thai food in town 1/30/2003

A wonderful restaurant with an intimate setting. The decor is tasteful with Thai influences. As soon as you step in the exotic smells permeate your nostrils. This is my favorite restaurant in Miami, and I've visited more than six times so far. Every time I'm reminded why I love this restaurant. The staff is always smiling and refills your water constantly and add rice as needed and the food is delicious. I would love to try everything. Aside from having an extensive menu, everything so far is exquisite. I highly recommend the Satay Chicken as an appetizer and Basil Shrimp as the main course. Not cheap, this restaurant is perfect for special occasions. Expect to pay about $25+ a person. You have to try the fried ice cream for dessert: out of this world. Next time you're in Miami, stop at Tani Thai. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it. Pros: Nice decor, Intimate setting, Easy parking more
