Service @ Its Best! 12/1/2011

I had just recused a 6 month old puppy from high kill pound when 4 days later he started having health problems. Fearing either Parvo I started frantically calling different vets offices in my area. None of them could get me in till 2 days later and on top of that in order to test for Parvo most of them had to send the sample out. I didn't want to wait that long fearing the worse. I kept thinking maybe there is something or someone I'm missing so I did a search on Google for local vets in my area and Amanda Animal Hospital came up. They were about 25 mins away from me but I called anyway. They were able to get me in right away not only that but there prices were soooo reasonable compared to everywhere else I was in shock! This was such a relief because my family is on a super strict budget. They were also able to test him and get the results back right then and there instead of having to wait. It just kept getting better from there the staff was so friendly towards me. In the past I ha more

Doesn't care about your animals... only your money!!! 5/29/2011

I've been taking my animals to the Amanda Animal Hospital for the passed couple years. I always thought they were a bit pricey, but they allowed me to do payment plans. But beware, if an emergency pops up, and you still have a remaining fee, they will NOT see your animal until it is payed up even if its hours away from death.\r I took my mom cat and her two kittens in to get something for their eyes. They have allergies which makes them water. these kittens were perfectly healthy prior to taking them in and 4 days later they were deathly sick. One of which died today from it.\r When I noticed they were sick, I called them and told them. They told me that they would have the doctor call me back. We called at noon & they never called back. We called back at 6pm, & they once again said that they'd have someone call. no one called until after 8.\r they were still sick the next day. We called and asked if there was any way they could merge bills.\r They told us that they wouldn't, and that we w more

great vets!!!!! 2/4/2008

i have a boxer who had broke her femur and i live in heath and i originally took her to the vet up here who told me that a splint could fix her leg. so i went ahead and paid almost $250 for a splint the size of a tennis raquet to be put on my dogs leg. that did nothing but give my puppy urine burn and ugly scars on her leg. so i called around and found amanda animal hospital. i called them and they had me bring her in(i live in heath by the way so it is a little bit of a drive) the vet there was thorough in the examination and showed me the xrays and said here's what can be done. they did the surgery and it ended up costing me only $1275 total and that is with all the anesthesia and everything. and i got to pay payments!!!! that helped alot. now when ever my dog needs to go to the vet i make the journey to amanda animal hospital to have anything done that needs done. even routine shots. i have never had a vets office treat me with the respect and understanding that amanda animal hospi more

A+ for these vets 11/14/2005

I have had many occasion to take my animals into the hospital for check ups as well as minor and major surgeries. The staff is courteous and kind, the office is very clean, and the doctors are great. They have even come to my home and made house calls when my animals were to ill to be transported in- due to their size and weight. Who does that these days? Well this place does and thats excellent service in my book. more
