A friend of mine lives in this neighborhood and I visited him recently and for lunch we went to this big and wild place. It's a little funny for me to be in such a big place for lunch -- the room -- is big with so much elbow room because I'm from Manhattan, but my buddy assured me I was going to love the food so I relaxed. Great food is right! This is a combination type of food between Chinese and Indian food and boy does it work! The fish fingers from the appetizer menu, the shrimp rounds from the same menu, the hot/sour chicken soup were all unbelievably tasty. It is in a not-sexy but not dangerous neighborhood so it would be like never would I go here if my friend wasn't in the neighborhood, but I would visit again in a flash if he said we could have lunch or dinner here again! It's not Asian as in China, it's Asian as in India, Pakistan etc., though, honestly, as a descendent of 5 generations ago Irish, I am hardly an expert on the what Asian fusion is. more
