I won't be going anywhere else anymore 10/8/2010

I arrived in Dallas last September after a really stressful cross-country move. Someone I'd just met recommended I take some time for myself and go to Tangerine. Well, I walked in and sure enough, they had time for me right then and there. I've now got my favorite stylist who understands perfectly how I like my hair cut and styled...she always listens and makes great suggestions. Yes, the price tag is higher than the norm, but I think you get what you pay for -- great service and true professionalism. I'll be going back soon! more

HORRIBLE 10/2/2010

I don't want to give this place any stars. HORRIBLE! Janet the owner gave me a brassy chunky highlight and mullet haircut. She talked about her church the whole time. I asked to have it fixed by someone else and they gave me to Emily. She made it worse. Besides talking about smoking weed and getting drunk she told me she has only been doing hair a couple months and doesn't like working there! I had to get my hair fixed at Tony and Guy. DON'T GO HERE! more

This is the best salon iv'e ever been to 9/29/2010

Best salon I have ever been to. Very friendly and welcoming. Staff is amazing. Stylist James figured out my hair and gives me the best hair cuts! I was a salon hopped but now I will only be going to Tangerine. And I love that you get free bang trims in between hair cuts. Saves me lots of money!? more

Buyer beware of poor service and bad business practice 4/30/2010

I got a Spa Finder GC I was happy to find a salon so close to my house (in Coppell, TX) that would accept it. I booked an appointment they put me with a Guy named "Blue" I spoke to him about my hair and what I wanted, I have been getting highlights for the last 15 years my hair is a dark shade of blonde pretty easy huh, well no, it was not I was truly unhappy. I called to complain to the owner and couldn't get the person on the phone the front desk girl told me in this case they have where the client is unhappy the same stylist had to see and fix the problem. I was not sure if that was a good idea but I respected the fact they are attempted resolve this matter. I made the appointment I had to wait another week meanwhile I have a bad highlight job and I am in a position where my Image is really important. I show up for my appointment and the front desk girl tells me I have an appointment for a Highlight but NOT A REDO. WHAT? are you joking? She said hold on let me ask BLUE. I said let speak with the Owner she said he was not available. What a joke!~ Don't waste your time and money you'd have better luck anywhere. more

FIND ANOTHER SALON! 3/4/2010

WORST salon experience of my life!!! I went to the Highland Village location. Gossip Girls + Housewives of Atlanta + Jersey Shore! The older woman at the front desk was standing around gossiping. The stylist was second-rate! When I checked out, the older woman at the front desk was confused and over-charged me. I asked to speak with the manager and she offered me a gift card to come back to the salon. I just wanted a REFUND! STAY AWAY AND FIND ANOTHER SALON! Cons: Everything more

I've been wanting to try Tangerine for a long time. Then I got a spafinder gift certificate and it was wonderful! I felt like I was on vacation! Very relaxing and the staff went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you, honey, for getting me the gift certificate. more

Great Experience and I highly recommend 12/14/2007

I don't normally write reviews, but always read them to find great places. After my visit to Tangerine, I had to let everyone know what an awesome salon Tangerine is. My stylist Whitney was the most knowledgeable stylist I've ever had (and I've gone through a few). The rest of the staff that I came into contact with were very pleasant and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend and if you are reading this, I hope this helps! Pros: Very professional and talented styist, relaxing atmosphere Cons: Couldn't name one more

Great Cut, Big Price 8/20/2007

I just moved to Dallas and was worried about finding a good place for a hair cut. I have wavy hair and have been told many times it isn't easy to cut. I went to Tangerine and was very impressed. I was booked with someone who had only been there a year, but they must train their employees well, because he gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. After highlights, the cut and style, then eye brow wax, the bill was $150, higher than I am used to, but overall worth it. more

Awesome place! 8/2/2007

It's been years since I've tried a new salon and I was a bit nervous. My nerves were soon put at ease as I met the nicest, most sincere salon people I've ever met! My color turned out perfect and my cut was the best I've had in years. I highly recommend. Pros: Wonderful people, beautiful atmosphere, Aveda Cons: Can't think of any more

My friend recommended me to Tangerine and from the moment I walked in, I was treated like a VIP. I'd had a really bad day and when i walked out, I not only looked great, but I felt great. I'm very critical and I could tell that the owners and staff have taken the time and effort to focus on the little things that matter and it made me a fan. What I like about places like Tangerine is that their quality and amenities attract the best staff, so you know you're going to be taken care of. Thanks again for making my day. The best I've found! 12/7/2006

I've been to several of the salons in the area and none of them gave me the WOW factor that I've been looking for until I went to Tangerine. It's a beautiful place, but it was the people that make the difference. Even though there were tons of people in there ( I guess a lot of people have found out about tangerine!) they made me feel like I was the only one there. I got an awesome haircut that I'd been wanting for a while but was scared to do. thanks guys for having a great place and making my day! Pros: Nicest people and beautiful atmosphere more
