Feels very "classic." It is ecactly what this type of store should be. Mysterious... a little sinister but... somehow very classic and reassuring. A store that fronts on a typical main street. The windows have labor intensive holiday-specific displays. The store caters to people who have only a few bucks to those who have a couple thousand. I was in there last week after not visiting for maybe ten years and it is still packed with masks and costumes. A good amount of staff too which is surprising. Go! more

Taney's costume shop is good for Halloween accessories, such as masks, wigs etc. They have a wide variety of costumes, however, most are for rent, not for sale. They are very pricey, and many of them are worn down and dated. The service is okay. The shop is a bit expensive for someone on a budget. more
