Avoid this place 10/20/2010

Dirty, disgusting, almost unusable bathrooms and even a slight odor of urine in the dining room were the first signs that we may have decided on the wrong place for dinner. The appetizers were dumbed-down, American versions of Indian food - lacking depth in flavor and cloying. The entree chicken vindaloo was passable but not anything special. I'd rather pay more at The Bombay Club or Rasika...this place is like Indian fast food more

horrible service,a nosy manager 3/21/2010

we regret that why did we go to this horrible restarant.we trashed our money actually. first of all just a piece of kobob for $18 and small pieces of chicken for $15,with very small amount of rice and daal.when we asked for more rice and daal manager himself misbehaved and refused to serve it....they had a problem to serve just a smalll plate of daal..we should have gone to Raavi kabob,Rio grande,shangum restaurant or should have gone to Mcdonald more

Great food - good atmosphere 7/18/2009

Tucked deep into the Market Common in Clarendon is a gem of an Indian Restaurant called Tandoori Nights. The atmosphere is great; the food more than holds its own against other Indian restaurants in DC. The only problem is that unless you know Clarendon well, you may find yourself driving round and round to find it. Just look for the Barnes and Noble on Clarendon Blvd and look right--bingo, you've found a good little treat! Pros: great food; good atmosphere Cons: Location hard to find unless you live in the area more
