The service was ok. I had plenty of food and water. I paid over 8 dollars for 2 tacos(no bigger than any known crappy food chain) and the usual baby food consistency of beans and rice. Bland food, as I had to add salt and pepper to the chips, beans and rice. But this is not why I rated this restaurant so low. No, it was the near death experience my wife and I suffered later that night. As the bad food (and we all know what thats called) set in our bodies. I believe it could have been Campylobacter, which is the most common type of ""bad food"" in dinners that cross contaminate drippings from raw meet. Or maybe bad hand washing techniques. Either way, We both experienced very painful cramping, extreme explosive bathroom visits, fever, sweating, and my skin felt waxy. Honestly, I wanted to curl up in a ball and Die! The next day was a holiday and we both spent it on the couch moaning, dehydrated and waiting for the ""bad food"" to pass through our system. \r
We had no breakfast, went to this restaurant for a late lunch and came home eating nothing else. This is how I know we received contaminated food here. I would be willing to bet other patrons experienced the same symptoms as we did and if any are reading this AND ate there Feb 17 (day before Presidents day) I would encourage you to speak up! I contacted the restaurant today but was unable to speak with a manager as one wont be there till 9:30 or 10pm. hmmmmmmmmm. I will try again tomorrow and hopefully the manager will see this as an awareness issue and not a purposefully malicious review. I do not feel any one should have to go through what we did last night and at the very least will seek an apology. I will not go back to this restaurant as the mere thought of it causes my intestines to grumble and my skin to become waxy.
