Just got home at 5:00 pm from a 1:50pm appointment. I met with the Dr. for about 8-9 minutes for my daughter's eye. What did I get for my 3 hour $107.00 visit? I Was told to put a warm compress on it with no antibiotic prescribed. This is after my daughter's primary said it was staph and she should got to a specialist if it didn't resolve. Which it didn't and prompted the visit to Dr. Lorenzen at Tampa Eye Clinic. I will NEVER go there again what a rude, unprofessional way to run an office. more

Tampa Eye Clinic-surgery team was great 6/29/2011

Mary Ellen was such a big help to me before this procedure. She really was informative and so pleasant. I worry about everything, but she put me at ease. This is no small fear, believe me. Tampa Eye Clinic-Excellence is practiced here 6/24/2011

My right eye surgery on 4/12 was actually a pleasant experience. The surgery center staff were professional but very nice. I am so impressed with everyone especially Dr. Reynolds. I have seen Elizabeth in the clinic several times and she is so nice. When I am out and about, I find that I am an ambassador for Dr. R and TEC. Excellence is practiced here! Tampa Eye Clinic-appointment were on schedule and efficient 6/24/2011

The staff was terrific. All my appointment were on schedule and efficient (very important). Everyone was very personable and easy to communicate with. The staff at the surgery center was equally personable. I enjoyed their positive attitudes and ""up beat"" conversation. I did not know having eye surgery could be so fun. Keep up the good work. Tampa Eye Clinic-spent time with me and showed me the surger 4/29/2011

Prior to having my eyelid surgery with Dr. Scheiner, I did consultations with 2 other local doctors. Neither of these doctors spent much time with me nor did they show me videos of the procedure that I was. Carol from Tampa more

I am completely satisfied with the care I've received from D. Ron Seeley and from Dr. David Leach. Both men are obviously extremely competent & conscientious. However, and very important to, they are also very compassionate, they care. And so do their assistants, Kellie, Marlena, Julia & Mary K. I feel very fortunate that Dr. Leach was willing to do the cataract surgery on my left eye on Feb. 21st, without making me wait weeks-or even months-after performing cataract surgery on my right eye on Feb. 18th. more

Long wait for a rude Dr. who tried to overcharge me 2/17/2011

I went the first time and waited 3-4 hours. I thought that must be because it was the first time but I was told to come back in 6 months, they sent me a reminder. I scheduled to see the dr. after my long - long wait, and talking to another person who was scheduled at the same time. The dr was very rude to me, he asked me ""Why are you here"" I explained for my 6 month check up and your office sent me reminders, he was very rushed, did not really do much. Then as I checked out they charged me double. When I asked why they said I had a test done, I asked which one they said where they ask you if 1 is better or 2. I did not have that test done, she said are you sure? I knew I did not. so I waited and they asked another employee who said no she did not...but the rude dr tried to charge me. Do not worry I will not waste my money with them again... more

Dr. was very rude, tried to overcharge me 2/17/2011

I scheduled a return visit after 6 months as I was told and received reminder notices. My appointment was for 2 pm as was another lady I spoke with that was seeing the same dr. When he entered the room he ask me very rude ""why are you here?"" With his poor attitude that I had to pay for he even tried to charge me additional $40, I asked what that test was they said when they put the thing on your eyes and ask you is 1 better or 2. I told them that was not given to me, They said the dr charged you, you must have had it... then another employee came in and they asked her she said no I was not given that test. So I sat in his office for almost 3 hours to pay him to be rude! I will not go back!! more

Useless front office 1/27/2010

It took this office 10 months to submit correct insurance documents. I then called to make a same day appt. due to a foreign object in eye. I told them that my Ins. would submit a referral as soon as I was seen. They made me an appt. I showed up only to be told I would not been seen without a referral. The front office staff of this clinic knows they have thousands of other clients to take there money. Rest assured they won't get anymore of mine. NOTHING BUT RUDE PEOPLE! Pros: Great Doctors if you get to see them Cons: Office personnel are rude and don't care. more

wow!!!!!! 8/6/2009

i have been attending this clinic since i was 13 yrs old never have i been treated poorly or was a perscription wrong i am 21 and just received lasik from Dr Leach. which was the best money ever spent because i am in the military this procedure was miraclous and the staff was amazing and helpful the whole time. i have sent many family memers as well as friends to Tampa Eye Clinic. i give them a ten!!! and a huge thumbs up Pros: amazing Cons: none yet more

A place to avoid at all costs. 11/25/2006

I scheduled an appointment for a simple eye exam at Tampe Eye Clinic. While there I was treated poorly and in a very condescending manner by both of the employees I dealt with. In addition to that I was charged for services that I did not ask for and given a prescription that was not even close to being accurate. The vision in my left eye is stronger than that of my right eye and I have a stigmatism. The Tampa Eye Clinic gave me a generic prescription that was exactly the same for each eye and did not account for my stigmatism at all. While at the clinic I brought this to their attention and the employee acted as if I was getting a prescription for the first time and did not know what I was talking about. I have been wearing contact lenses for over 20 years and never have I dealt with such an incompetent staff. If you care about your eyes I recommend staying far away from this business. Pros: None. Cons: Incompetent and rude staff, written an inaccurate prescription, overcharged. more

Then this is the place to come to believe. When it comes to your eyes who can you trust? The staff at Tampa eye clinic are the best. Weather its Lasik or just an eye exam this is the place to go. Pros: Local, Parking more
