On the third morning of our 5 day vacation my wife realized that she had a call on her phone from the previous evening. A message from the Tampa Cat Lady saying she could not get our door to open and that she didn’t want to call a lock smith. She was able to get in our house the first day but not the second.
So after listening to the message we were concerned that our cat wasn’t fed on the previous day. We didn’t have any options at this time based upon the information we had from the voice mail other than to cancel our vacation and come home.
My wife called the Cat Lady and left a message saying we were headed home and that we wanted a refund. Now if the Tampa Cat Lady had answered her phone or called back quickly things would have ended differently.
We proceeded to cancel or vacation reservations and incurred a nasty cancellation fee for doing so. We packed up and started the drive home.As we were driving home my wife was using her table to get directions and then checked her emails. At this time my wife finds an email from the Tampa Cat Lady saying she was able to get in our house.
Who does something like this? If you make a phone call saying there is a problem you don’t later send an email saying everything is fine. If you call and leave a message saying there is a problem you call back or at a minimum text a message saying the problem has been resolved. You don’t leave a voice message saying there is a problem and then send an email saying all is well and then hope the person reads their email before taking action.
So because we got a voice mail saying there was a problem and we didn’t get an answer or return call when we called we canceled our vacation to come home. We didn’t bother to check our emails.
The Tampa Cat Lady never called my wife back. She never responded to my wife’s email reply. I called once we got home and she never returned my call.
Do not use.
