We went to eat here based on the reviews. My wife and I were very disappointed. I ordered chicken and vegtables in brown sauce and there around 4 small pieces of chicken and the meal was 9 bucks. My wife ordered chicken fried rice and again there was little chicken and the rice seemed overcooked and it too was 9 bucks. Definitely will not be going back! more

Best Thai food in town this is my six time eating here every time I come here I try to have different dish like this time I have myself a green curry with beef it test very good .Because I just went back from Thailand 6 months ago and I ate Thai food over there all the time .This place prepare Thai food exactly the same in Thailand .The service very nice the owner very friendly and one best thing about this place is they are kids friendly. This plano popular spot is one of the best Thai restaurants in Plano. Its always family friendly and the prices can't be beat! I have not had better corn patties anywhere and that includes some very upscale Thai restaurants around the country. Tamarind dance and Seafood noodle soup not to be miss . more

What a treat to find this restaurant. Party of 4 and everyone really liked their dishes from the tomka gai hotpot, tamarind dance with seafood, ginger delight with chicken and the sea bass special. Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I ordered my tamind dance medium spicy, and could have ordered it hot. The papaya salad was excellent and so was the thai coffee. Often these two dishes are sub par at many Thai restaurants in Dallas. $65 for four and BYOB (off-dry reisling was great with all dishes). I've tried Thai restaurant from many places but Tamarind is the best place that I've ever had. With relaxing atmosphere and warm welcome from wait staffs along with excellent taste of food, my dinner with my friends was very fantastic. Discovering this place is a treat, and once you try it....you will be back! One of the best Thai places in Dallas that we have eaten and prices that will not hurt the pocketbook to boot. The Tom Kha Gung soup is excellent and the Po-Tak soup (spicy seafood soup) is a great pre-meal treat for everyone to enjoy. The Po-Tak is brought to the table in a large open flame dish and it is serve yourself for all to enjoy.....cool presentation! Have tried many things on the menu and not been disappointed with any of them, but especially enjoy the Tamarind Peanut and the Pad Thai (have them make it spicy for a real kick). Service is some of the most helpful and friendly we have experienced anywhere. And the kicker to top all of that off is that it is B.Y.O.B!!!! One of the few places that you can bring in your own spirit of choice to enjoy exactly what you like and not pay the usual pricey markup!!
