Charles started out in the logging business in 1977. He logged for 15 years, cutting timber all over East Alabama and West Georgia. In 1992 he changed pace a little when he established Tallapoosa River Forest Products, Inc. He began cruising and buying a lot of the timber he once cut himself. Charles has the experience of cruising, buying and harvesting the timber in such a way that benefit's the land owner or business. Charles became a Professional Logging Manager in 1999 and stays current with all licenses and classes required by the Alabama Forestry Association. Shelia Hunt, Office Manager Shelia has helped manage the business since the beginning. She has devoted her life to their family and has helped Charles operate the business to the best of its potential. She has went from running for parts when Charles was logging to now running for grandkids while managing the office. Angela is the newest addition to Tallapoosa River Forest Products, Inc She began working with TRFP in October of 2004. She currently handles the processing of all timber contracts, timber closings, logging and trucking operations, and other administrative duties. She holds a Business degree from Gadsden Business College and has over 10 years experience in the business profession. David started with Tallapoosa River Forest Products, Inc when Charles began the business in 1992. David came with a previous 18 years experience in the timber business. He was experienced by way of timber cruising, timber buying, mill operating and much more. He continues to lead the business with his expertise in timber cruising and managing logging and trucking operations. David became a Professional Logging Manager in 1999 and stays current with all licenses and classes required by the Alabama Forestry Association. Chad began working with Tallapoosa River Forest Products, Inc in 1997. Chad specializes in timber cruising and managing logging and trucking operations. He maintains all logger training certifications for the timber buyers and logging crews and oversees all safety procedures used on the job site. Chad also has experience as a first responder and is currently a career firefighter for the City of Carrollton. Chad became a Georgia Master Timber Harvester in 1999 and stays current with all licenses and classes required by the University of Georgia, Warnell School of Forest Resources.. Pulpwood
