Dr. Hammar and her nurses have been very nice and very concerned about the well-being of our children. We've been going to see her for about two and a half years now. But be aware, her practice is very busy -- many children come through there every day. Yes, you do have to wait a long time and there doesn't seem to be any way around that. But when she arrives, Dr. Hammar spends a lot of time with you. She does not hurry you, or the issues concerning your child -- which is likely how she treats all of her patients. This is probably why it takes a long time to see her. Her staff is also good about taking calls and giving advice in between appointments. I agree with the other reviewer that the women at the front desk are not as courteous as they could be. Nevertheless, my wife and I believe she is a good and caring physician.
