I love this place! It is the cutest and coziest little tea room I have been to in the city. The servers are very friendly and treat each customer that walks in the door as though they were old friends. They are very knowledgeable about teas and have an impressive selection. Try the blueberry scones, they are the best I have ever tasted! There is also a beautiful outdoor garden in the back with a fountain, perfect for private tea parties. This tea room is like a hidden jewel in the city and probably the only place you can sit and relax without feeling like the servers are trying to hurry you out. more

On a rainy day there are only about 4 tables inside. I think they have a couple outside too though. It has a very charming atmosphere. The service was friendly. The server was actually knowledgeable about tea and they have an extensive selection of tea. If you are there with a friend, definitely get the motorloaf. It might not seem like a lot of food, but I was starving and it filled me up fast. The selection of fruit that came with the food was very fresh and perfectly ripe. I ordered a scone with lemon curd (they have a lovely selection of jams too) and devonshire cream. It was absolutely DIVINE! Like no scone I've ever had. Apparently it was the server's sister's recipe. I enjoyed my experience here and will definitly go back. I'm not into horses, but it seems like they had an increadible selection of goods.
