Went to Takara Stead & Sushi for my oldest daughter's birthday. The first question we were asked was whether we wanted to be in the restaurant or have our meal prepared ""live show style"" before us. We choose traditional dining because we were there for the sushi. It's AMAZING!!! Even if you don't think you like sushi - you'll like the sushi here. If you think you like sushi - watch out - no where else will compare once you've eaten here.
I don't know what the soup was that was served before dinner - but it was AMAZING!!! Even the salad - which didn't look like much was great.
Really enjoyed the food but was ecstatic when the bill arrived. Seriously - this is great food AND affordable to boot!!!
Oh - the tempura platters are to die for - and the Japanese curry is something you can't find anywhere else. Didn't care for the Miso soup - but then again I don't like Miso soup.
