Had to go to ER after eating Pakora 7/5/2009

Oh boy, what a place. We stopped by and decided to eat dinner and munched on some Pakora with chutny. Some of Pakoras tasted weird but chutny was good so we finished the plate. Right after midnight there was a very painful storm in my friend's belly and he puked several times before his wife drove him to ER. Stayed overnight and came back with a sore stomach and large bill. I won't even drive by that restaurant to avoid fumes coming out and making me sick. Staff was nice though. more

My favorite... 12/4/2006

This is my favorite restaurant in Fort Wayne. Their luncheon buffet is OUTSTANDING. I have introduced many people to this jewel-of-a-restaurant, and they have all agreed it is a great combination of economical, magnificent food & outstanding service and atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Taj Mahal to anyone! more

The Best Indian 6/18/2006

This is THE PLACE in Fort Wayne for Indian. The service is wonderful, and they offer a buffet everyday for a song - $6.95! My favorite dish is Nav Ratan Shahi Korma, loaded with fresh veggies and a creamy curry sauce to die for. This is my stop every Sunday for lunch. The buffet is from 11am - 2pm. They also have a lovely little store attached to the restaurant that sells traditional Indian ingredients and fare, spices, canned goods and veggies. I just cannot say enough goo dthings about this place. more
