Bad Food the most spoiled food ever 12/1/2010

I have never eaten at a restaurant and had the food smell so bad. As I was putting it into you mouth and found out that the food was spoiled. We had Shrimp and Scallop Skewers and they were so rank, it frightened me as to how sick I might get.\r \r The manager came to talk with us and actually asked if she could make us ANOTHER, as if the rest of the batch was not spoiled as well. \r \r Then they proceeded to bring our check. Yes, our check for our food and sent us on our way telling us to come back. \r \r If you want safe and good Japanese food this is not the place. They do not even take the rotten seafood as a serious problem. \r \r Beware if you still want to eat at this restaurant. more

Decent Food & Hip Decor, Strange Service 6/22/2010

A few of us just had lunch at this restaurant. They have a back area for parties of under 10, had a lot of fun at a bday get together before. Based on that fun experience, we came here again. The food was pretty good, I had their lunch box which was pretty good and I liked their japanese ice cream. \r \r Last week our sugar land workplace was given certificates for the city walk restaurants so when I gave it, the waiter said they expired and that they were waiting for money from the last one (they are dated 6/21-7/9 and just received them) so we politely explained and he begrudgingly used it. We felt that was kind of bizarre, why agree to offer to be included in the listing of restaurants and then when guests redeem it make excuses to not accept it? \r \r Then, when my friend paid the bill he assumed she had left a 60% tip and didnt return. Of course we left a tip but how can you assume that we would leave such a big one? After 15 minutes of waiting, we had to ask for the change back... found that to be odd. \r \r Aside from the service issues, it was a nice place and we'll be back. Pros: food was pretty good Cons: service more

Dont waste your money 6/22/2010

My wife and i saw this restaurant and had a funny feeling just walking and had a strong smell of mold but thought notting about it...maybe they just had some water problem...we sat ourselfs at the bar and we where told to move to a table when i really wanted to sit by the tv but the server talked to use to move or else in a way...he must have had a bad day or something cause there was nobody in the place and the table was dirty and my chair had spilled soysauce or something nasty on it....my wife was already saying to just go and not even order cause she had i feeling already that is was not going to be good....we get our table changed again to a booth and this server was saying sorry about that the busboy was new and stuff...bla bla...So we order the seafood pasta and hibachi chicken....Holy Crap..... my pasta had like this puddle of water on the rim of the bowl and when eatting the scallop was so over cooked that water squirted out and had a laugh about it...but other then all...stay away from the Pasta....My wifes Chicken, She didnt want to eat cause of the plate...it Was Dirty with finger prints and the vegatables where very very dark or burnt.....all and all this place needs help and save your money...Amici is the best for pasta and bakerstreet has good food for the buck and if you really want sushi ..Japanieros Cons: The food is very overpriced for the no taste of food.. more
