When we went to select our 30 pictures, it was the 1st time we were made aware that our album will be a plain album with no design - nothing. My friends were allowed to make some changes on their wedding album, so they unwillingly gave us the same option. There were few pics w/ any type of composition to it. Sunset wedding photos can be extremely romantic, but not when the pic gives a feel that an object is ""growing"" from the top of my head (for example). That just ruins the pics & took away any artistic feel to it. The inexperienced photographer was to blame. How could a professional photographer allow his photos to turn out that way with ""still"" people & controlled lighting/setting, let that happen? Shame on him! We just couldn't understand why they had the nerves to print out pics w/ subpar quality &/or blurry for us to pick from.
They do some photo editing before they print the album, but even the lady editing the photos was not experienced enough to undo the damage of the photograph's poor skills. Items in the pictures were unprofessionally slanted &/or blurry. Since we had a very difficult time selecting our photos, we requested to see the digital files in hopes that we may find something that we actually like. They REFUSED to show us digital copies on the computer, which lead me to believe that most of those pics taken were indeed very bad quality. We asked Emily if we can see the digital copies of more photos in case we find something there we preferred. She then went to talk to Mr. W for 5+ mins & finally Mr. W checked the digital copies. He confirmed the digital copies were also blurry, that's why he did not print them for us to view. All of a sudden, he started ""QUESTIONING"" us (with an ATTITUDE) why we complain about ONE photo that is out of focus while there are so many other ""GOOD"" pics (in his opinion) to choose from. He then irrationally tore our pic in front of us. WOW, is that how you are supposed to treat your customers? & they claim ""their staff has been trained to keep the customer in mind. Not only does each employee strive to make you (the customer) feel comfortable, but also to demonstrate their professionalism."" What a joke!~ There were at least 10 blurry photos I showed to Emily. These pics are the best that they can present to us? Then I started to pull out another batch of bad composition photos to show side by side with their sample albums. No doubt Emily was speechless, because Mr. W really did a bad job. Mr. W's photography skills were not even close to those shown in the sample album.
I didn't want to make a scene there, but expressed to them our dissatisfaction. Though we constantly told them we were unhappy with our photos, they ignored our comments. Emily even urged us again to UPGRADE to the $3200 pkg..HAH, NO WAY! To try & appease us, they gave us 100 more thank you cards (value wise that did not offset the treatment we got nor change the fact that the quality of the pictures were not adequate) We definitely felt they just put something together so they have something to give us, & not give us the attention & care we deserve as customers. Could it be because we didn't pick their most premium package? I don't know. By the time we got our photos, we just lost the excitement or care to see them. Wedding pictures are intended to make you look back & reminisce the good/sweet times, not feel the way we did.
Pros: cheap
Cons: they don't treat u like customer!
