Don is a tremendous asset to the company. I almost canceled my service with Tahoe Springs until Don went above and beyond by providing excellent customer service. On Thursday, I called and set up for new service as I had 14 family members coming into visit from out of state, and needed to make sure that I had plenty of water for the family to drink. On Friday, I met Don at my house during my lunch hour around 12:30 pm. He set up the cooler and gave instructions regarding my new service. He was very thorough and I felt I made a good choice with Tahoe Springs. He wasn't even supposed to come, but apparently he was asked to since the other Sales Rep was not able to make it to my house. At 5:25 pm, I came home from work to find my kitchen floor soaked in water from the cooler. The rug next to my sliding glass door was water stained and the floor was just a large, wet mess that I had to dry up. I immediately called Don on his cell phone and he had no way to replace my cooler. I was not pleasant or happy with my 1st few hours experience, and I think Don was able to tell by the tone of my voice. I was upset knowing that Tahoe Springs did not have Saturday hours and basically I was inconvenienced until Monday when I could reach someone at the office to tell them about my situation. Then to my surprise, Saturday morning, my doorbell rang and it was Don. He said he though about it through the night about my issue and remembered the service dept works on their vehicles on Saturdays, so he went down and picked up a truck that had a cooler on it, delivered it to my house and exchanged out the bad unit and replaced a new bottle of water for the other bottle. I was very impressed with this type of Customer Service. Word of mouth travels and I have shared this experience with friends, family and work colleagues.
