We recently stayed at the Tahoe Biltmore (for a Summer trip). The hotel looked like it had seen days of glory - especially the main hotel. We had a discount rate in the hotel rooms next to the main hotel. The paint was peeling on the stairs, the room looked old and as if it hadn't been painted in many years. The windows did not lock and the screens were falling off. There was no air conditioning and very poor lighting and good thing because the carpet looked very dirty. My son thought the floors were going to buckle since the wood seemed soft in places. If you're desparate for a cheap hotel - well - maybe. Otherwise - keep looking!
Pros: Cheap room. Nice lobby and gift shop. Swimming pool.
Cons: Everything else.
