When I first told TADFA that I was retiring and we were moving to Florida because of my wife’s mother needing assistance due to here health and financial problems and yes this would help us out also. TADFA informed me that we would be required to come back up to Maryland at lease two times with the lawyer and then the court date also.\r
\r
When TADFA finally sent the lawyers name and phone number, I called the lawyer. The lawyer recommended that I get back with TADFA and see about getting our money back and starting the procedures in Florida. \r
\r
TADFA informed me they would look at this. TADFA did send me $600.00 out of the $1,500.00 back. And two lawyers names here in Florida that maybe be able to take our case. I requested by phone a breakdown of the balance from TADFA on what the $900.00 was used for. \r
\r
TADFA did not responded by mail or a phone call, so I would assume that therefore it must be because TADFA don’t have a positive answer and did nothing with it in regards to assisting us, except contact lawyers here in Florida.\r
\r
There were other things that concern me. Still trying to understand a few things:\r
\r
* Why TADFA had me do nothing in regards with a company filing a judgment against me. Telling me not to go to court, it would be handled down the line with the rest of the companies we were requesting to file for bankruptcy. Now we have a Judgment Filed against me. It did not at that time and does not make any since now.\r
\r
*Someone’s miss-handling of personnel property: Received pieces of my documents in the mail from the U.S. post office (in Feb 2009) stating found loose in mail. There were items floating in the post office, personnel information on myself and my wife. When I got information from TADFA on which of their lawyers was going to handle our case and I had talked with this person they had not received anything from you so I sent her the info through e-mail. Still have copy of e-mail I sent. This data found loose in the mail may have been the data TADFA you were sending your lawyer in reference to our case. \r
\r
* TADFA also stated to me that they would get back with us after researching with staff on what happen and what was done for us. Till this date 9/07/2009 we have not seen anything and that was the reason for my phone message.\r
\r
*Received a letter from TADFA dated April 20, 2009 introducing you company again like I did not have a contract with you in reference to a Case in District Court. Having paid all this money surly you would have me on record and I also had sent you all the data on our accounts.\r
\r
I still feel TADFA did very little if nothing for us. To make a long story short you just make things worse.\r
Pros: No Response
Cons: Things are worse
