My husband and I have visited this restaurant many times and have always had a great meal. To start, the waitstaff and bartenders are friendly and very helpful. The garlic cheese bread, house salad, fried calamari and the sausage and rigatoni are amazing. Their menu also offers fried ravioli, minestrone soup, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti, penne gorgonzola, halibut, salmon, lamb, pork, and filet mignon. We have not sampled the desserts yet because by the time we finish our meal, we are too stuffed to eat anything else. One of these good days, I am going to have to leave room and try their desserts because they look divine. Nevertheless, on the 30th of March, hubby and I went there for dinner and left feeling very disappointed. We made reservations and arrived a little bit early. No problem. We simply hung out at the bar and waited for our table to be ready. After a few minutes, we walked over to the hostess stand and waited. Nearby, another couple appeared to be waiting for the rest of their party to arrive. When the other half (another couple with a baby) of the party came in, the hostess happily greeted them (I think they were her buddies) and proceeded to seat them before us. I thought maybe the other party had reservations first so it was only fair but then I thought of how many establishments will only seat a party if all members are present. My husband and I were ready to be seated and yet we felt we were 'bumped' due to the fact the hostess knew the other people. We were quite annoyed to say the least and we left. Again, the food is great and the waitstaff is superb but the fact that familiarity overshadowed good business left a bad taste in our mouth. As a business owner myself, I feel this is not way to operate. I want to go back again but I do not want to risk a lovely evening being ruined.
Pros: Great food, great waitstaff, friendly and knowledgable bartenders
Cons: Inconsistency with seating/reservations
