My husband is willing to drive down from Seattle anytime to pick up a flat of blueberries, two peruse their many varieties of whatever fruit happens to be in season. The star for him is their own variety of corn, which is intensely fresh, sweet, and crisp. We are originally from Illinois, so we really are serious about our corn. We buy it from them and freeze it so we can enjoy it through the year.
The place is huge, with some flowers and plants outside, and the inside has all the fruit and vegetables, some gourmet-type items, it's more interesting than the grocery store, and kids will like to ogle the candy section.
Prices usually beat or otherwise meet grocery stores, and it's far more fresh and tasty, and offers a lot of local choices.
Pros: local, fresh and tasty, in gen'l cheap
