Fabulous beer list 11/20/2009

I love the beer list. I usually go to the Metropolis location, but Decatur's has more flavored beers to choose from and more overall, and in my opinion has a better decorated interior. Also it's a five minute walk from my apartment, which is nice, because their tiny lot fills up very quickly and I frequently don't carry enough change for metered spaces. I love their queso dip, fajitas, Peachtree hills chicken, and burgers. Most of the food menu doesn't appeal to me though. And I love getting the beer of the month on Thursdays with a free pint glass! Pros: beer list, quick service, super close to me Cons: limited parking, menu not really to my taste more

Mexican Food, Kind of? 12/1/2008

Having moved to atlanta from out west I am continually surprised by the ""mexican"" food I come across out here. Taco mac has a great beer selection and a friendly staff, but their 9 dollar steak burritto is more of an enchilada mixed with a burrito, mixed with a fajita. The meal was quite small, and came with chips and rice. Definately go check out the amazing beer selection and great wings, you just may want to say away from the tex mex. Pros: Available seeting, great beer selection Cons: High priced food that does not quite deliver more

Taco Mac use to be my favorite for wings when I lived in the burbs. You can no longer find it in the burbs but it's still going strong in the city where it had originated. I love the wings TMI (three-mile-island) and swimming (served in a pool of sauce). When they're served take one wiff and you'll feel drugged. I like things hot but death is a little too hot for me, TMI will fly you to the moon just fine. It's top notch bar food & ofcourse they have a million beers on tap. more
