Moved here from LA three years ago. Mexican food is my fav. Hard to find in New York I've come to find. There's stuff like Mexican, but no real Mexican. Then, I stumble upon Taco Bite (back when it used to be a window on the side of a building by McCarren Park). Wow! I walked out of my way to get this stuff it's that good. Good, no great. Then, one day, it's closed. I don't know what happened. Cut to half a year later and they're opening up a real Taco Bite restaurant down the street from me. I love this place. The family that owns it is AMAZING. They are SOOOO nice! Bonita makes good enchiladas, Yola's has the best Quesadilla, but Taco Bite has the BEST burrito -- hands down. If you're sick of the service at Taco Chulo, come try out Taco Bite. Oh yeah, and chips and salsa come with every meal and they're DELICIOUS!
