My family is Mexican - I grew up in California, eating the real thing, and Taco Bell in a pinch. This large location is the best one I've seen in New York. Lots of seating with booths and tables. Always crowded (I think that is a good sign) and fast service. Sure, it's not authentic Mexican, but the ingredients are fresher than in other locations, and everything the food tastes clean and not oily. Open late too! My only complaint would be that in the NYC winter, they don't turn the heat up very far. That can make the food get cold before you get to it. So in the winter, we get the food to go.
