Be sure to take your kids to this museum to learn about the Native Americans. Through short films and exhibits, you will learn about various tribes such as the Cherokee and Iroquois League. The museum is a fun and informative way to show how the Native Americans were forced off their lands into small reserves. After touring the museum, you can go to the reserve and see what life is like for today's Native Americans. Definitely a place to check out. more

Native American Museum 7/29/2005

This is a great learning experience for kids as they watch films about Native Americans and how they live and about their history and how they were pushed off their land and persecuted. Kids will learn about warriors and also about home life for Native Americans. Many artifacts are on display for the kids to look at. The museum gift shop sells lots of fun things such as arrowheads and genuine weapons (for adults). They do birthday parties for children. There is a tour of some of the surrounding grounds to see the reserve. more
