Good Japanese Food 9/8/2005

Tachikawa is located in Pinole not too far from the freeway. The food is good but only wished for more for the price you pay. The service is ok and sometimes under staff. I think they are under new management and have not yet gone in ever since previous management. There is a restaurant next door that I regularly go to and I see more and more people going into Tachikawa so I'm assuming it's better now. Good food from my experience so I'll give it 3 stars. more

This restaurant is small inside with just probably less than 20 tables. The food is good but the portions are small. When we tried this place they were busy and we got really slow service. I think there was only one waitress servicing all the tables. We were almost going to leave when our food finally came. We never returned. more
