Taberna de Haro 3/26/2006

This Spanish taverna has imaginative tapas in a cozy setting. I went with girlfriends and we crowded around a small table to enjoy sangria and some appetizers. There were vegetarians and carnivores among us and everyone found something on the menu from the tapas with omelettes to the garlic shrimp. You do feel a little rushed though because of the limited seating and the waiting customers. more

Good value for oil change with blended oil 11/18/2005

At this Firestone, the oil change is $20 or less (depending on if they're running a speical or not) for synthetic blend oil, which is a great deal considering that a synthetic blend oil itself costs ~$3 per quart. On weekdays, the place is not that busy, but on weekends, you'll have to get there either early in the morning or drop your car off as it'll take at least a few hours for them to get to it. more
