beautiful location for high end brunch 10/13/2005

If you can snag a seat on the patio in good weather, DO IT. You sit in an ivy covered enclosed garden under a beautiful sweeping canopy. romantic! The brunch food was quite good, if somewhat on the pricey side. I had the lamb sausage that definitely looked...er, a little too much homemade:) Their doughnuts, as everyone says, are really fabulous. I would go there just for those! more

wonderful ambience 8/24/2005

The Tabard Inn is a wonderfully romantic dinner spot. The food is inventive new American, with an interesting wine list to match. It's housed in a British style Inn, which you enter through the same door. The restaurant is to the left. Go in winter - plan to stay for a brandy by the fireplace. In summer, outdoor dining on the patio will tempt you. more
