In February 2012, Total Home Roofing & Contracting, LLC [THR] agreed to repair damage [caused by a fallen tree]to the exterior of my home, including roof damage. A short time after THR completed the work much of the sealing compound used began to seperate from the wood. A close review of the work [not ground level] revealed that wood cutting measurements were not precise enough and left large gaps that required extra boards to be used to cover mistakes. Excessive use of sealers were used as well. Wood work quality is very bad and most seals have come apart allowing bugs into the home. The company owner returned and reviewed the problems and agreed to rework the mistakes, but has since ignored my calls and messages and has failed to follow through with a promise to improve the quality and integrity of the repairs. I would never use this company again for any type of home repair work. Footnote: THR inadvertantly left nails in the roof that were used to secure a tarp to prevent interior water damage while repairs were being made. Water damaged my kitchen ceiling as a result of this mistake. No offer was made to repaint the kitchen ceiling.
