In my opinion, a true measure of a company is how they treat you after the sale.
T-Moble’s retail store in downtown Honolulu was a convenient place to pay one’s bill. It was also a nice excuse to peak inside the store and browse the latest phones while waiting to be helped. Recently, the store made the decision to discontinue accepting in-person bill payments. In other words, if you aren’t in the store to buy something new, sorry. They did place an automated bill payment machine in the store, but it does not accept credit cards, a serious deficiency.
How did I find out about this? Not with a bill insert, not with a sign in the store. Rather, I went to pay the bill in an otherwise empty store and was bluntly told that I could not be helped. So much for service after the sale.
