I frequent this Palmdale TJ Maxx and can count in one hand how many decent interactions I have had with the employees. They are not friendly and make it seem as if you are putting them out of their way when you have a question. Maybe basic customer service is a commodity? The quality of the product gets worse with each visit. More often than not, I will find an item that is not priced. I've learned not to bother trying to ask for a price or purchase the item, to avoid a snide look or possible accusation of removing the tag. I enjoy the clearance sections and often find great deals. There have been many times that prices have been removed at the register and have been told that it is not the price and I have paid full price or some other price they claim is correct. Today in the attempt to return an item, I was told by non other than your store manager Elva Diaz, that the item I was returning did not have the correct price tag and proceeded with a lecture and a lesson of what prices match what items with numbers? I had requested an exchange for some items I had already selected and was ignored. Both the cashier and the manager walked away many times from the register in an attempt to find an item with the correct price. I understand that retail stores like this may have these issues, but when a regular customer spends a lot of money is treated so poorly publicly, this leaves little desire to return. I will no longer shop your stores or sister stores, especially this location. Shame that there is only one store in this area, because I will not go out of my way to find another or will I recommend to my friends to do so as well. I was humiliated in front of a line of your customers and was made to feel extremely uncomfortable for approximately 45 minutes. It is a shame that your staff is completely disconnected to the current events of the economy, as I'm sure many merchants would not want to loose a single customer and value their regulars.
