If you look at all the reviews for T square property you will see that property owners are impressed while the renters are very unimpressed. After today's experience with the property manager I now see why this is the case. \r

I moved in January 1st and the first night in the home - which was an easy choice because it beautiful and well maintained - the washing machine broke. The washing machine is a rare machine and they had to hire specialist to come look at it. Since it is not a common machine they had to order part. This would normally not be a big deal, however I am in the military as well as my boyfriend/ roommate. Currently his job has him working 24 hours a day and 6 days a week. When he finally has a day off to come home we have to spend it at the laundry mat washing his uniforms so he has clean uniforms for the next week. For the first two weeks I would take off work to be here for the maintenance men, I would follow up with them to find out the time line because T-sqaure never knew (never took the initiative to find out) and would not answer my phone calls. Today the maintenance men came by to put in the part we had been waiting for and it didn't work. Frustrated I called the property manager, Laurie. This is the first time I have complained about the situation. She told me that if I didn't want to deal with the maintenance than I should have rented an apartment. She explained that her job was to save the home owners money. Her trying to save the homeowners money is costing me not only money but time, going to the laundry mat and missing work to stay home for these repair men. She told me that I could pay a company 50 dollars an hour to be present so I don't have to miss work. I feel when I am paying close to 2 grand for rent I should have a functioning washer and better customer service. She tried to sympathize with me and tell me that last week she didn't have power for three days and couldn't run the dishwasher ""but she didn't complain"". I'm sure if she found out the reason that she didn't have power for three days was due to someone trying to save a few bucks (that wasn't her) she wouldn't be so calm about it. To top it off, at one point she thought I hung up on her and said ""Really! Real mature! I can't believe you, you just hung up on me!"" My response was ""No, I'm still here."" Instead of apologizing she simply said ""Oh, it sounded like you hung up on me."" Then at the end of the phone call as I am telling her goodbye - she hangs up on me without any ""good bye"" or ""let me see what we can do to make this up to you"".\r
I left a message with the manager's assistant - if anything better comes of it I will let you guys know.\r
