Yum Yum 10/22/2009

I am from out of town and came across this place by chance. I bought take-out and had the shrimp and broccoli which had a light garlic "au jus". I had a side of fried rice which was only fried with eggs. It was delicious. The broccoli was farm fresh and the shrimp vain cleaned and cooked perfectly. If you judge the looks of the place you would probably not go inside. But the food was light and not greasy at all. They also prepared a quart size cup of fresh brewed jasmine tea with tea leaves. I would definitely recommend for take-out if you just want to eat at home and relax. more

Dim sum is lacking 4/16/2006

Someone recommended this as the best place in Austin to have dim sum. If that is true, then you should never have dim sum in Austin; go to Houston or Dallas instead. The place was a little crowded as far as placement for tables for dim sum, it seemed as if the carts were too big for the place. The dim sum itself was the worst I had ever tasted. There was no flavor. The bbq pork buns were a little dry and nasty. I'm not sure how the other food tastes there since I have never been back, but hopefully, it's not like their dim sum. more
